Dear Rhinda and Abby, I'd love to share a few comments about the three wonderful days of hunting that my friend Wally Ruta and I experienced at your beautiful ranch last October. (2013) As a wingshooting  consultant by profession, I found you on the internet and followed up with a  telephone enquiry.  After many years of pheasant hunting in Nebraska and South Dakota and numerous annual trips to Huns and sharp tails here in Canada, Wally and I were looking for hunting dog friendly, clean and comfortable accomidations where there were no long drives to the hunting areas and we could do our own cooking, bird clearning and hunt our own way without running into other parties.  Comet Ranch was perfect and really exceeded our expectations. You folks are so friendly and hospitable and your beautiful property was so well managed for small party bird hunting.  Despite a year of lower bird numbers throughout the state, we limited out every day on pheasants and killed some bonus sharp tales as well.  With little pheasant hunting experience, good dogs and Lady Luck smiling on our shooting it was truely one of the best pheasants hunts we have experienced.  Your accomidations were really great and we ate like kings thanks to your big BBQ and full kitchen.  As you know our return trip for this fall was booked before we left last year.  We would certainly recommend Comet Ranch for anyone seeking a laid-back and relaxing hunt with easy walking and alot of nature to enjoy.
